The first thing I noticed about Immanuel's Veins, was the cover. The cover shows a hand, holding a silver chalice, with a woman's face reflected on it. Then I opened the book, and after taking a second to appreciate the rough cut pages, I read the first page. The story opens with a letter from "Saint Thomas - Lover of His bride". Ted Dekker had said on his FaceBook page that many have accused him of jumping on the "vampire bandwagon." He explained that this book is about vampires, but not about … [Continue reading...]
Crunch: SuperSlimDown
I take back every misconception I've had about Pilates. And believe me..they've all been misconceptions. Pilates, since it's frequently grouped with yoga, I had perceived to be some quiet, gentle, laid back workout. In a word...boring. And I was concerned about whether or would be a sufficient workout, for someone who's ex-military. As someone who frequently has issues with tachycardia, I chose to do Pilates today, purely because it wouldn't rev me up like my preferred (yet dangerous) workouts. … [Continue reading...]
4 Things I’d Love To Review & Why
1. iPad I love the idea of having a very portable computer, that can go onboard the plane with me, can go to appointments with me etc. I could read from it, blog from it, try out a jillion apps on it, and then tell you why you should buy it too! 2. Sephora Makeup I'm already a fan of their products. I love their website, I love the 3 free demos with purchases. I love the free shipping if you hit $50, which is so easy. I hope one of their PR reps runs across this post. :) 3. Baby Bjorn Travel … [Continue reading...]

Any brilliant thoughts on what I should review? Do you know any fabulous review blogs I should link up with? SRPMEJ87UX5F … [Continue reading...]
Scion “Battle of the Builds” For US Military
Okay guys, check it out! I know I said I was gonna be quiet this week, but this is good, and a topic close to my heart. Scion has been doing a competition with the military to see who can create the coolest custom Scion xB for under $15K. So they're doing all this voting through tomorrow. I'm sorry about the late notice, but I just found out about it yesterday. So hey, go support these military members and go vote. :) I've got the poster below, as well as a link for the PR bulletin on it. For … [Continue reading...]
Another quick update
Okay everyone, I'm so sorry about this!! I had some family stuff come up, so I'm not going to get much done on the review blog this week. I will take my down time to knock out some reading, and get reviews set up and ready to go next week. I'm making sure that the majority of my content isn't memes, but actual reviews of products, places & services. If you have something you'd like to see reviewed, please comment or email me. I'm always looking for new things. I will have a set-up of what's … [Continue reading...]
